Fraser Market Access was created by Peter Fraser of Alexandria, Virginia, USA to promote and sell processed foods and beverages from outstanding companies around the world in carefully selected U.S. markets. The strategy is to combine a targeted sales effort with continual product feedback and market research to identify demand and profitable markets for existing products and to develop new products in close collaboration with our suppliers and potential buyers according to their production capacity and needs respectively.
A strong and trusting relationship is important to us. We establish direct personal relationships with suppliers, importers and distributors, and retail outlets to get to know their companies, to understand the best channels for inserting a given product in the marketplace, and to negotiate pricing, logistics, and contractual arrangements.
Our role in the process is flexible. Once we establish that there is a profitable market, we are able to import and distribute products directly to retailers or we may also act as a product sales representative should that be the most efficient and profitable way to conduct business.
Sanitation and health standards are of the utmost importance to us. Before we enter into a business relationship with our suppliers, we visit their production, storage, and packaging facilities and verify that registration and sanitary requirements have been met and that the products are in compliance with the regulations of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Social and environmental responsibility count. Fraser Market Access regards good environmental and labor practices and corporate policies as important elements of companies with which we choose to associate. The firm was created by Peter Fraser as an extension of his thirty five plus years of business and economic development work in Latin America and the Caribbean and other parts of the world.
